It’s spring, the sun is out and it’s warm outside. It’s the perfect time to start being in the present, which is why this week’s book is ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle!

Today’s book is one of my all time favourites: ‘The Gifts of Imperfection‘ by Brene Brown. I found Brown through her TED Talk (video below) on shame and vulnerability and she quickly became one of my favourite researchers and authors. So I’m very excited to talk about the first book of hers I’ve read.

This week it’s time to improve our relationships with Gary Chapman’s ‘The 5 Love Languages‘.
The cover looks very cheesy, I know. But I’m gonna say it already, at the start – worth a read! I feel like most of us have troubles in relationships of some kind, be it with friends, family members or partners. And Chapman is here to help us!

Today it’s time for a ‘finding your style’ kind of book. To be exact: ‘The Curated Closet‘ by Anuschka Rees.

I’m a sucker for some gratitude. So the moment I saw this book – ‘365 Thank Yous‘ by John Kralik – I was immediately in! Thanking people, being grateful for things… The more of that the better, it makes life more beautiful.

Jen Sincero‘s ‘You Are a Badass‘ is a nice introduction to the concept of manifestation. It’s a sweet pep-talk; a good book to read when you don’t know what to do with yourself, aren’t sure what you want and how to get to do what you love. So if you don’t mind a pep-talk tone it can be very motivational.

Going from sleeping in until noon to happily waking up at 5 am? It’s… actually easier than it seems. And Hal Elrod’s ‘The Miracle Morning’ gives all the tips on WHY and HOW to do that.
Add some motivation and self-discipline and it’s pretty doable!
As a daughter of two professional hoarders my whole life has been accompanied by clutter, stuff and things. It’s all been fun and games until I was few months away from moving to a different country and there was No Way I could take all of that with me.
That’s where Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and Spark Joy come in. I’ve seen those books all around the place and had various people recommend it to me so I though why the hell not! If I’m gonna throw stuff out might as well do it properly and with guidance of a professional organizer.
And I got rid of good 90% of the stuff I owned. Thanks Marie!
